RIOT V was inducted into the prestigious Heavy Metal History Hall of Fame 2018! Past inductee’s include Scorpions, Randy Rhoads, Lemmy, Slayer and others and this year will be inducted along side rock heavyweights Bill Ward from Black Sabbath, Carmine Appice, Billy Sheehan and others! 2018 See’s the legendary band sign to legendary metal record label Nuclear Blast and releases there 16th record “Armor of Light“ produced by whiz Chris “The Machine” Collier (Korn, Prong, Flotsam and Jetsam, Metal Church, Dokken, Slipknot etc). The new album is already rising up the charts and debuted on the German charts at #22 and Japan herold it as #1 two weeks straight!

The new offering is pleasing fans of the Fire Down Under and Thundersteel era of RIOT as main song writer and long time Mark Reale music collaborator Don Van Stavern does much of the writing as he did on Thundersteel, The Privilege of Power and three songs on Born in America.

DVS is joined by 30 year RIOT band mate, song writer and Reale’s guitar partner of over 20 years Mike Flyntz to create what they feel is something they are proud to call a RIOT record!

RIOT V has a tumultuous history of member, label and management changes throughout the bands 30 plus year career but one things for sure, a bands longevity is through good music and if this new record is any proof, they will be around for years to come!

Here After Six is a 4-piece original rock band based in Mid-Michigan. The band formed in 2016 from a collection of creative and passionate musicians in the Bridgeport and Birch Run area. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses harmonic rock vocals with one-of-kind guitar riffs and solos, bass lines, and dynamic percussion that will make you want to come back for more.

Michigan voters ranked Here After Six a top 5 finalist two years in a row in the “Next2Rock” original rock band competition, and the band earned Best Rock Band, Music Video, Song Writer, Guitarist, and Drummer in the 32nd annual Review Music Awards. Since 2021, Here After Six has had ongoing air time on Z93.3 with four original rock compositions for weekly segments. The band has released two albums and three videos with close to 10,000 views on You Tube, and has opened up for National touring acts including Tantric, No Resolve, Smile Empty Soul, Saliva, and Quiet Riot.

Chase Engel & The Nightshift

There’s a new Michigan rock band about to make some big waves. Chase Engel & The Nightshift have hit the scene running. Hailing from Saginaw, Michigan they are poised to be one of the breakout rock bands of 2023. Bolstered by their epic cover of Elton John’s “Rocket Man”, the band is now working with 7 time Grammy nominated producer Joel Hamilton (The Black Keys, Highly Suspect) on their debut single expected to be released this spring. With their powerful arena rock style jams, their electrifying show, and undeniable image, Chase Engel & The Nightshift should be on everybody’s radar as the rock band to look out for in 2023.
